Dr Ian Gutteridge is a Australian trained ENT Surgeon, with a special interest in ear surgery and cochlear implantation.
After completing specialty training, he received his ENT fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2017.
He has subsequently undertaken further training in Head and Neck Cancer surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Following this, he completed a Fellowship in Otology and Neurotology, at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
Dr Gutteridge subspecialises in diseases of the ear and surgery for correction of hearing loss, including cochlear implantation and implantable hearing devices.
Current clinical appointments are at both the Ipswich Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
He is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland and has published and presented nationally and internationally. He has active role in the education and training of ENT registrars, as well as junior medical staff and medical students.
He consults in rooms at both Ipswich and Springfield.
